FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples reserve their date 12–18 months ahead, especially for peak-season Saturdays (May–September). If your date is sooner, reach out anyway- there are always a few hidden gems in the diary.
What’s required to secure our date?
A signed contract and a non-refundable 50% booking fee lock your date in my calendar. The remaining balance isn’t due until four weeks before the wedding, so you have plenty of breathing room.
Do you travel, and is there a fee?
Absolutely. All three packages include travel anywhere in Mid Wales and Herefordshire at no extra cost. UK-wide or destination weddings are welcomed too; travel and accommodation are quoted transparently before you sign.
How many images will we receive?
It depends on coverage:
Essential – 150–300
Signature – 400–600
Legacy – 600–750+
I never cap “good” photos- if it’s flattering, in focus, and helps tell your story, it stays.
Can we get the RAW files?
I’m afraid not. Part of the value I bring is the curation and artistic edit that gives your photos their magic. You’ll receive high-resolution JPEGs ready for print and social sharing.
Will you be the one photographing our wedding?
100 %. I never double-book and never outsource. On request, a trusted second photographer can join me to cover both morning preparations and alternate angles.
Can you help us with the timeline?
Gladly. Every couple receives a custom photography timeline PDF after our planning call, making sure the day flows smoothly and light is on our side.
How do we book an engagement session?
Engagement shoots are included in the Legacy Collection and can be added to Essential or Classic for £200. They’re relaxed, fun, and a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. If you’re not booking your wedding photography, an engagement shoot alone is £350.
