Wedding Photographer in Mid Wales, Powys and Herefordshire

Capturing connection, not just poses.

Relaxed wedding photography that feels natural

Capturing the joy, the chaos, & the quiet in between

I’m a wedding photographer in Mid Wales, photographing weddings across Powys, Herefordshire and Shropshire as well as the rest of the UK. My approach is relaxed, natural and documentary-style, capturing real moments without awkward posing.

Whether you’re laughing with your bridal party, sharing a stolen moment with your partner, or tearing up during speeches, I’ll be there – quietly documenting the real, unscripted moments that tell the story of your wedding day.

My work combines the documentary style of old school film and digital photography to give you timeless photos with a soft, artistic edge.

Of course, we’ll take time for a few beautifully composed couple portraits and family photos, but I won’t pull you away from your day for hours. My couple sessions usually last just 10 – 15 minutes at a time, so you can get back to celebrating with your guests.

I'm the right photographer for you if...

You want relaxed but stylish wedding photos
I work with a documentary approach infused with subtle editorial flair.

You’d rather laugh than pose
No awkward instructions here. Just natural direction to help you feel at ease, so I can capture genuine emotions and unscripted joy.

You want your photos to feel like your wedding day felt
My approach means your images will reflect the warmth, atmosphere, and emotion of the day—not just what it looked like, but how it felt.

What it’s like to work with me

Many couples book me because they want natural, relaxed wedding photography without awkward posing. As a wedding photographer in Mid Wales, my approach is documentary and unobtrusive, focusing on real moments as they happen rather than staged photos.

From your first enquiry to the moment your gallery arrives, I keep everything simple and easy to follow. I photograph weddings across Powys, Herefordshire and Shropshire, working with couples who want their day to feel calm, genuine and enjoyable rather than rushed or overly directed.

My style is a mix of candid storytelling and gentle guidance when needed. I’ll help organise group photos quickly, give direction for couple portraits without making things feel forced, and then step back so you can enjoy your wedding day while I capture the moments naturally.

Whether you’re planning a small registry office ceremony, a countryside wedding in Mid Wales, or a larger celebration with family and friends, my aim is always the same – relaxed wedding photography that feels true to you.
