Pen y Bont secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Knighton Town Reserves in their latest fixture, thanks to an early strike from Alphie Stonefield.
The decisive moment came just a few minutes into the game, when Stonefield reacted quickly inside the box to fire home what proved to be the winning goal. Despite both sides creating opportunities, neither team could add to the scoreline.
Knighton Town Reserves pressed for an equaliser, but Pen y Bont’s defence stood firm and protected their narrow lead until the final whistle.
